Almost twenty years ago, on a two week adventure starting in Charleston and heading along the coast wandering on and off the barrier islands, running north along Route 17, we discovered what was then a very rural and beautiful coastal community, known as Hampstead, NC. This was prior to the arrival of Hurricane Fran in the fall of 1996 that forever changed the look of our beautiful Belvedere. (View Marge Ulcickas Bio with her listings)
Hampstead soon became our getaway destination, from the hectic life of running a family business. We purchased land for our retirement home and would come on down at every opportunity. In 2007, while working as a Realtors in Monroe, New York, prompted by an unexpected illness it was time to leave our family, wonderful job and friends to strike out on a new adventure at a new venue.
While we still trek back and forth to New York, Hampstead and North Carolina are now our home. My husband and I are active members of St. Jude The Apostle, and I prior to going back to work at Sold Buy The Sea discovered a new passion for Jewelry Making and through that am active with fellow crafters at various craft shows and markets in eastern North Carolina.
My career as a Realtor was one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had, it was so wonderful to be able to help people find the home of their dreams or to move forward, as we did, by selling their homes and moving on toward bigger and better things.
You will find me to be honest above all, reliable, trust worthy and fun to work with. Finding your new home or selling your existing home can be stressful, I would love to have the opportunity to guide you through that process.
